On the second Tuesday of each month, Microsoft releases advisories and patches to fix flaws, vulnerabilities, and zero-day exploits in what has come to be known as Patch Tuesday. Below is the rundown of this month’s Patch Tuesday.

Microsoft patches 51 vulnerabilities, one zero-day exploit this month

Today, according to Microsoft’s June 2024 Security Update Release notes, the software company released fixes for 51 flaws in its Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, and other Microsoft products. Let’s break down this month’s fixes.

Zero-Day Vulnerabilities

CVE-2023-50868 - According to Bleeping Computer, this month’s Patch Tuesday fixes one publicly disclosed zero-day, known as the ‘Keytrap’ attack.
